Today, I had some energy for a change.BBCK had a friend stay the night last night and, as usual, they were well behaved. Watch for this girl to create an account here - after she asks her dad. If she does, BBCK will probably check her chat section more often (one could hope). After her friend went home, BBCK asked to go play with another friend. Of course, I was okay with that. So, I took her to her friend's house and returned home where I grabbed my kite/mountain-board/harness kit.

Then, I was off to Highland park to play in the wind a bit. I'm growing more and more happy with the kite that I bought. There was definately a learning curve to overcome. I'm nearing the top of that hill. After the wind dropped, I returned home and watched a bit of the BUSCH race.

When that ended, I stewed. And stewed. And stewed. I didn't want to waste the day, so I decided to wash the truck and take the sandbags out of the back since it's not likely that we'll get any more measurable snowfall. Shortly after I finished that, BBCK returned home. Since she already had plans to spend the night at her grandma's house, she wasn't here long before it was time to take her to grandma's.

After I dropped her off, I gathered up Cadence and went geocaching. I racked up another 6 finds today and I recorded 3 DNFs because I'd been to each of them at least twice and had no luck. I can always go back and look again. However, recording DNFs can alert the cache owner to a potential problem with the cache. One of the caches that I found today was at Rossford Marina. Every time I go to that park or marina for any reason, I am reminded of that time that I stepped on the bee on the way to/from the bathroom. Of all the wonderful memories that I have of that marina and the family outings that started there, why does the human brain go to the negative? Not much has changed at the marina. The docks are all in the water right now, but nobody has their boat in, yet. I'm sure it won't be long before they're all full.
